Winter at Sugar Hill

The sweetest time of late winter is here-it's maple sugar time!  Smell the syrup is bubbling in the kettles while the trees are dripping their nectar into buckets.  It's a fun celebration for the end of winter.

Jingle All The Way

Dust off your sleds and sharpen your skate blades, it's time for the annual Moonlight Sledding party!  The first big snow has arrived and the full moon is rising.  All the children either are busy heading for the biggest hill in town to sled or the pond to skate. Even the dog is in on the fun! It's an evening for cold weather, hot chocolate and friends!


 December Snow          

You've arrived just in time for the town's Christmas Eve Snowman Contest!  The children have dressed all shapes and sizes of snowmen hoping to win a prize.  While you are waiting you can take a sleigh ride or go skating on the pond.  You can even get a cup of hot cocoa if you want!  Don't look now but a snowball fight has started!  But everyone better watch out-because Santa is on his way!

This is the latest in our Halloween village.  There are bats in the belfry-and are there bats in the house too?! There all sorts of surprises in this fun piece. See the blue ghost peeping out at you, and the tiny monster in the window? These are just the start of all the many other surprises are waiting for those that dare to visit this house for tricks and treats this Halloween!

Santa Claus Lane

 As you can see Santa Claus is on his way and all the children are so excited to see him! Listen, you can even hear the sleigh bells merrily ringing in the air. There are snowmen, bunnies and a sweet little house all ready for Santa's arrival. Finished as either a drum or a framed piece, our drum is lots of fun



Beach Dreams

 From beach balls, flip-flops & sandcastles-these are the dreams of the most wonderful memories at the beach!  This chart features our design as either a drum or a framed piece.



Mary Porter 1832

Mary Porter was just 12 years old when she stitched this beautiful sampler. This English reproduction's edges are surrounded by an elegant strawberry border. The entire sampler is made up of floral motifs, blue birds, butterflies, & flower baskets.  In the center bottom of the sampler Mary stitched a tree of life complete with Adam & Eve and the serpent.


 Mummy's Moonlight Cafe

Mummy has started a new cafe just for the Trick or Treaters.  He is pulled out all the stops and is serving only the best.  The new chef has cooked up a mouth-watering menu that includes Brown Taod Casserole with worm gravy; Fried bat wings; Pickled newt eyes; Finger sticks and best of all Ghost cake! It promises to be an exciting meal so make sure you get there before everything sell out.  You wouldn't want to miss out on these goodies! 


Sale at the Bubbling Cauldron

There's Moonlight Madness Sale at the Bubbling Cauldron tonight!!   Come and get your new flying brooms, snake eggs, love potions, magic cauldrons and croaking toads.  Love Potion supplies are limited!! Make sure to come early before the crowd carries all of the bargains away!


Autumn Quaker
 Fall is just around the corner.  The air is crisp and the leaves are an extravagant display of color. This small sampler is a tribute to the fall season and its beauty.




Bump N. D'Knight Farm

There are strange things happening at the D'Knight's Farm.  There are loud noises, moans, and scratching sounds coming from the barn! Where are all the farm animals?  Did you see the ghosts peeping out from the windows of the farmhouse?  And who is that looking out the window of the attic?  There is much mischief afoot at the farm tonight-come and see if you can make sense of everything.  But beware-there is still something or someone going bump in the night!



A Churchyard Christmas

It's the children's churchyard nativity and all is not well. Halos are crooked, crowns are bent and some of the camels have escaped! After all the years of helping with the children's Christmas programs, we decided to share some of our favorite memories with you in our design! We hope that you will enjoy our new chart. Remember all those wonderful, hectic days of Christmas when children were blessing us with their enthusiasm and antics! Watch out for those runaway camels!
